Who we are

CardAround by Extnd Labs, based in Melbourne, Australia. “We” and “us” on this page means Extnd Labs. By using CardAround you agree to these terms.

What CardAround does

You start a card, share a link, people sign it, and we email it to the person it’s for on the day you pick (or you send them its link yourself).

Price

• A card from one person is free.
• A group card is a one-off payment of A$6.99, made before it opens for signing. It covers up to 100 signatures. It’s not a subscription, and nobody signing pays anything.
• You’re emailed a receipt when you pay.

Refunds

• You can design a card and preview exactly how it opens before you pay, so please check it’s what you want first.
• Payments aren’t refundable for a change of mind, including if the card isn’t used, isn’t signed, or is never sent. Once you’ve paid, the card is unlocked and ready to use whenever you like.
• If something goes wrong on our side, like a card that doesn’t send or doesn’t open because of a fault with CardAround, tell us with your card reference (it starts with CA-) and we’ll fix it or refund you.
• Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank, so we can sort it out with you directly.
• Nothing here takes away your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

What you can’t put on a card

Cards are for being kind. No bullying, mocking or putting anyone down, whether it’s the person the card is for or someone else who signed it. A joke between friends is fine; a message meant to hurt or embarrass someone isn’t.

Also nothing hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or illegal, nothing that isn’t yours to share, and no spam or advertising.

The person who started a card can remove any message on it. If you see a card being used to bully someone, email us and we’ll look at it quickly. We can remove messages, or a whole card, that break these rules, without a refund.

Your messages and photos

What you write and upload stays yours. You let us store it and show it on the card to anyone with the card’s link, so the card can work. GIFs come from KLIPY and belong to their owners.

How long a card is kept

• A sent card stays online for 12 months from the day it was sent, then it’s deleted for good, with its messages and photos.
• A card that’s never sent is deleted 90 days after it was started.
• The person who receives it can download the whole card as a PDF to keep.
• Deleted cards can’t be recovered.

The service

We work to keep CardAround running and delivering on time, but we can’t promise it will never be down or that every email will arrive, since delivery also depends on the recipient’s email provider. Your card’s page shows when it has been sent and opened. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses beyond the amount you paid for the card.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A card you’ve already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
